If you own a computer, you have probably already used Skype, or at the very least heard about it. In March, the computer-based phone program entered the world of mobile phone communication, via the iPhone.

Until now, Canadian users were unable to take advantage of it, but VoIP has recently announced the launch of the Skype for iPhone and iPod Touch in Canada.  Thanks to this application, your iPhone and iPod Touch will become your wallet’s best friends because you will be able to make low cost calls to other mobiles or home phone from a WiFi zone. On top of that, you mobile phone will replace the need of your computer when you are on the move because it will store all your Skype contacts’ information.
